Description: The Career Center announces a dedicated Sensory Hour designed to create a more comfortable and accessible experience for all students.This exclusive hour is set aside for students who would benefit from a low-sensory environment or who have mobility concerns. During this time, the fair will feature:
Reduced Noise: Limited ambient sound, music, and announcements.
Fewer Crowds: Attendance will be capped to allow for easier navigation and less overwhelming interactions.
Priority Accessibility: Mobility aids and wheelchairs will have clear access to employer booths and tables.
If a typical, crowded career fair feels too overwhelming, we encourage you to join us during this time to connect with employers in a calmer, more relaxed setting.
To attend the Sensory Hour, meet under the blue awning on the north side of Pauley Pavilion at 3:00 pm. Students will be admitted on a first-come, first served basis.
