Disability Pride Week Launch Party (with words from OIE VP Ralina Joseph)

Description:  UCOD is a space where campus entities come together to discuss and collaborate on the disabled experience at UCLA. Come meet friendly folks who all want to learn and explore. This committee, as a supportive environment and thinktank, helps develop community driven goals and connections throughout campus. This is not an administrative committee.

Sensory Hour for HIRE UCLA Job Fair

Location: Pauley Pavilion
Time:  3:00 – 4:00pm

Description: The Career Center announces a dedicated Sensory Hour designed to create a more comfortable and accessible experience for all students.This exclusive hour is set aside for students who would benefit from a low-sensory environment or who have mobility concerns. During this time, the fair will feature:

Reduced Noise: Limited ambient sound, music, and announcements.
Fewer Crowds: Attendance will be capped to allow for easier navigation and less overwhelming interactions.
Priority Accessibility: Mobility aids and wheelchairs will have clear access to employer booths and tables.
If a typical, crowded career fair feels too overwhelming, we encourage you to join us during this time to connect with employers in a calmer, more relaxed setting.
To attend the Sensory Hour, meet under the blue awning on the north side of Pauley Pavilion at 3:00 pm. Students will be admitted on a first-come, first served basis.
