A short film featuring UCLA Professors from the new UCLA Interdepartmental Degree Program for Disability Studies. The faculty discuss what is disability studies, who they are and why they are interested in disability studies, and why it is important that UCLA has a new B.A. major in Disability Studies. The faculty in the video include – in order of their interviews: Victoria Marks (World Arts and Cultures/Dance), Raymond Knapp (Musicology), Helen Deutsch (English), Lauren Clark (Nursing), Juliann Anesi (Gender Studies), Lauren Lee McCarthy (Design Media Arts), and Salih Can Aciksoz (Anthropology).
